Teachers are invited to apply for grants to receive additional professional training, to learn from other lineages and develop their teachings in new directions. Recognizing these challenges, and particularly some of the obstacles female-identified teachers face, the Two Tara Fund seeks to support established, fully-empowered women teachers by funding ongoing spiritual and professional development. Few resources exist for established teachers. Having completed that process, teachers often find themselves leading communities, teaching in unique contexts and finding ways to bring the tradition to contemporary students. Two Tara Fund - supporting women dharma teachersīecoming a Dharma teacher is often a long and complex process to master traditional teachings and pedagogy of one’s own lineage.
